In 1954, Mitsubishi Corporation, Japanese leading Sogoshosha established its representative office in Bangkok. Along with Thailand's social and economic development, the representative office has been re-organized for many times in order to cope with the business situation. Now we have two core companies:- Mitsubishi Company (Thailand) Ltd. and Thai-MC CompaLimitny ed.

Mitsubishi Company (Thailand) Ltd., a 100% wholly-owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation, was set up in 1960, while Thai-MC Company Limited, a joint venture between Mitsubishi Corporation, Mitsubishi Company (Thailand) Ltd. and our Thai partners, was established in 1973.

Since then, the companies have been cooperating to strengthen their footholds in Thailand through the business expansion in fields such as importing raw materials like fuels, exporting Thailand's agricultural commodities, domestic sales of chemicals, manufacturing various kinds of industrial products, and offering various services such as logistics to meet the rapidly growing domestic demand.

Thanks to our well-established network both domestic and worldwide, we have joined with our partners and succeeded in diversifying our businesses into automobile, electric appliances, steel and metal products, chemicals, processed foods, textiles, and other general merchandises such as tire.

Here in Thailand, in addition to Mitsubishi Company (Thailand) Ltd. and Thai-MC Company Limited, MC has investments in nearly 100 companies, namely, subsidiaries and joint ventures, such as Tri Petch Isuzu Sales Co., Ltd., that is well-known for its pick-up truck, Bridgestone Sales (Thailand) Co., Ltd., Thai Chemical Corporation, Thai Kurabo Co., Ltd. Through these activities coupled with our affiliates worldwide, we shall continue to contribute to the continuous growth of Thai economy.
